Our Foundation to Year 6 lessons follow an ongoing story. The reading, writing and maths are woven right into the plot, so practice arrives as part of an adventure rather than another worksheet at the end of a long school day.
It is the reason kids ask to come back. They want to find out what happens next.
Older students do not need more generic worksheets. They need the specific things their own subjects are about to test them on. So we start from what their school is actually telling them.
Revision materials and exam-style practice papers built around the subjects they actually take and the SACs coming up - not a fixed syllabus we run everyone through at the same pace.
We start each session with what their teachers have flagged. What did the last piece of feedback say, and what does it mean for the next assessment? That is the most useful information anyone has, and it usually goes unused.
An assignment draft, a practice paper they would like checked, a topic from class that did not land. Students can always bring their own school work and we will work through it with them.

We are a small operation in Melbourne's west, and we teach every session ourselves. That means you are never handed to a rotating roster - your child works with the same people every week, and we get to know how they learn.
Sessions are led by a Graduate Teacher, and we both hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Jordan is a University of Melbourne science graduate - neuroscience, pharmacology and immunology - with a place on the Dean's List, and did well in his own VCE with an ATAR of 97.25. He has tutored for many years, one to one, online and in small classroom groups, much of it VCE, with years of primary tutoring behind him too. He brings a curriculum-aligned, evidence-based approach, and no two students get the same session.

Le is a final-year Master of Teaching (Secondary) student at the University of Melbourne, with hands-on classroom experience from teaching placements across Victorian schools. He has many years of tutoring behind him, from our Foundation to Year 6 kids through to VCE, and brings a curriculum-aligned, evidence-based approach focused on building genuine connection and confidence alongside academic results.

You are very welcome to stay. Two hours is an awkward gap to fill, so rather than driving home and back, settle in with a cup of tea and get on with something while the session runs.

$60 per 2-hour session for Foundation to Year 6, $70 for Years 9 to 10, and $80 for VCE. That works out at $30 to $40 an hour. Enrol siblings and it is $10 off per student, every session.
We publish our prices because most tutors do not, and we would rather you knew before you got in touch.
Small - a handful of students, never a classroom - and grouped by the same or similar year levels, so your child is never the odd one out. Everyone works on their own material, so the group size never means a generic worksheet.
Foundation to Year 6 for English and Maths, and Years 9 to 12 for English, Maths, Science and VCE subjects. If your child is in another year level, get in touch anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Just a pencil case and anything from school they would like help with. We provide all the worksheets and revision material.
Entirely up to you. There is a room for parents at the centre with free wifi, tea and coffee, so you can wait and get on with something instead of driving home and coming back. Dropping off and returning at the end is just as fine.
